The Power of Nurturing Creativity: Reflections from IP’s Black Parents

Black liberation is at the heart of the work IP is doing for our youth. For us, this means ensuring that Black kids have the freedom to explore new opportunities and experiences.

That’s why this year in honor of Juneteenth, we spoke to three Black IP parents to get their perspectives on why it is important to allow Black children to pursue their talents and interests in the creative arts. Hear from new IP Parent, Lisa Felix, as well as veteran IP Parents Kamilah Cunningham and Marissa Lee- Baird about the benefits they’ve seen IP have on their children and the importance of nurturing creativity in the Black community.
