November 14 at SFJAZZ!

On Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 at SF JAZZ Inneract Project (IP) will host an event that examines diversity and inclusion through the lens of education. Discussing these issues...

How design, tech, and education can work together to support stronger inclusion

It’s time to re-examine how education plays a role in tech and design. We’re bringing together people of color, women, and educators to talk about the issues that are most affecting recruitment and retainment in design and tech.

Our panel will present an honest analysis of recruitment and retainment gaps for minorities and women in design and tech. We’ll also spotlight unique programming that challenges current paradigms and aims to support our youth –– the future thinkers, makers and creators of our community.

The evening will include case studies and share education based insights on how to develop more informed inclusion strategies. All rooted in working from the ground up and with multi-industry partnerships.
