Celebrating 20 years!
Towards Expansion.
Inneract Project has come a long way since I first conceived it during my graduate design course at the University of Washington. I still remember driving around Seattle, pitching the program to community centers, starting with just three students. Today, we’ve served over 10,000 students, whom some have launched their own businesses or attended top design schools like Parsons. The journey has taught me that change requires focus, relentless effort, and unwavering belief in what you’re building. Along the way, people and circumstances will challenge you, but our mission has remained the same: How do we encourage and support Black and Brown youth to enter creative fields?
2024 is Inneract Project’s 20 year anniversary. For the past 20+ years, Inneract Project has been a leader in the youth design education space. We have empowered and educated 10,000+ students, partnered with 40+ funders and have raised millions to date.
This past summer we hosted our first Summer Design Camp and worked with middle and high school students, focusing on essential design concepts and practical project-based learning to enhance their portfolios and unlock their creative potential.
As we prepare for 2025, our goals are to:
Increase our student enrollments to hundreds of students a year
Expand to new locations and sustain our current operations
Raise $200,000 this year towards an overall $2M goal over the next two years.
Join us in reaching our goals! Consider a one-time or monthly donation.
