Inneract Project Alumni
Inneract Project’s work/impact is seen throughout various different stages of life—from Middle school to Career.
Malik Jones
Malik started with Inneract Project in middle school. He has taken multiple classes throughout the years and now is attending Parsons School for Design in New York.
Jasmine Robinson
Jasmine started with IP in middle school, and is now pursuing a design degree at UC San Diego. In addition, Jasmine was awarded a Summer 2022 internship at Meta.
Aska Mukati
Aska is an Inneract Project mentee who used our Uplift platform. She was ultimately offered a full-time design position at a startup, Daffy.
Andrew Whitmore
Andrew used our Uplift platform. Through an Inneract Project partnership with Design Map, he obtained a freelance contract and also enrolled in a UX workshop. He is now working as a full-time product designer.
Charmienne Butterfield
Charmienne started with Inneract Project in high school. An IP scholarship recipient, she is currently attending UC Berkeley for design.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Create at Home
Create at Home (CAH) is a free regularly occurring, easily accessible design activity that inspires students of all levels to explore design while at home or on the go. CAH are designed to help students foster their creativity and explore design in their own communities. It also supports students with self discovery, confidence, and reassurance.

Learning Lab Workshops
Learning Labs are free single-day workshops that expose students to design through collaboration with industry professionals in real company environments. These workshops are short, yet provide snippets of education for students interested in learning more about design.

Design Internships
Design internships are free multi-day experiences where advanced students become Inneract Project paid employees and are tasked with designing in-house Inneract Project or external client material.

Uplift
Uplift, by Inneract Project™, is a free online digital platform designed to help Black, Latinx and underrepresented designers of color find mentors, prepare for interviews, strengthen their network, and gain unlimited access to portfolio reviews from professional graphic and product designers.
